Inviting staff members

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to invite staff members to help you manage your business on Kennel Max.

You can invite staff members with the following roles:

  • Owner: Full access: Admin dashboard, staff dashboard and billing
  • Administrator: Same as Owner, excluding billing
  • Staff: Staff dashboard only

Alert: Choose the staff role carefully. Staff with "Administrator" or "Admin" roles have access to change your system configuration.


1. Navigate to https://app.kennelmax.com/staff-members-invitation

2. In the side navigation, click on 'Staff Member Invitation.'

3. Click "Invite"

4. Add the staff member details

5. Let's use John Doe as example. Fill out Name, email and role

Alert: The user must have a valid email.

Once you click 'Send Invitation,' Kennel Max will send an email, and the staff member will need to confirm the invitation.

6. Click this dropdown.

7. Click "Send invitation"

8. Notice that the status is pending while we await the staff's acceptance of the invitation.

Tip: The status will change to a green checkmark icon after the staff confirms.

9. In the side navigation, click 'Staff Users,' and you'll see the user is now in an active state

10. Click "Active"
