Invoice and Payments
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to register payments and manage invoices using Kennel Max.
It includes detailed instructions on navigating the system, selecting and editing bookings, updating invoices, and recording payments.
Viewing this guide will help users efficiently manage their invoices and payments within the system.
Tip
All invoices in Kennel Max are linked to an existing booking. You cannot generate an invoice without a booking
1. Navigate to https://app.kennelmax.com/bookings/dashboard
2. Select a booking with a "draft" invoice, and click on the yellow "Invoice Created" button.
Tip
You can edit an invoice by selecting the "Pencil" or "View" icons in the booking list for the given booking.
3. Add the due date and change the status to Due so that you can record payments. Click "Update Invoice".
10. From here, you can add more items to the invoice if needed. Don't forget to click Update to save any changes.
11. To add a payment, click "Record payment →"
12. The amount can be either total or partial. Choose the payment type. Reference number and notes are optional fields.
Tip: Currently, Kennel Max does not support POS systems. However, this feature is on our roadmap for development.
15. Click "Add" to record the payment.
16. The invoice has been marked as 'Paid'.
17. Users with the 'Administrator' role can view the financial status of the invoices.
Click 'Admin Dashboard' if you have the appropriate permissions.
18. In the Admin Dashboard, you can view the total, paid amount, and the total amount received.
